For standard C I would suggest either a light 5 string set (120-40) and ditch the last string, custom a set from someone like Bass Strings Online or Just Strings, or maybe take a look at DRs DDT sets. For my drop C tuning a use a .120 or .125 on the C and then a heavy 4 string set on the remaining ones (90, 70, 50).
