Mirror's Edge: Catalyst runs in slow motion. Hello, i have a problem with the game on PC. Quite often the game runs in slow motion for me. Usually i run the game at around 40 fps, but sometimes the game drops to ~20 fps and stays that way, even more, it's not skipping those frames, but actually runs at half speed, running and moving is.

Yes, it's the PhysX. When bullets hit things like glass in the game, the advanced physics can make for a more realistic experience, but it doesn't change how the game is played. Took these steps from a steam forum post: Delete or rename the physxcore.dll, and physxdevice.dll from the steam\steamapps\common\mirrors edge\binaries folder. Also delete the physxlocal directory inside that same binaries folder.
