Like a cool breeze off the Mediterranean, our chickpea tortillas will blow you away. We made a tortilla with chickpeas and olive oil, but don't worry, it doesn't taste like a pita! Our chickpea tortilla is ultra pliable and behaves and tastes suspiciously like a flour tortilla. Our grain free tortillas are approximately 6'' in diameter.

Preheat the skillet and add the tortillas one by one for about 30 seconds per tortilla. Keep warm in a tortilla warmer or in a clean kitchen towel. Oven - you can also reheat them in the oven. Hand method. In a large mixing bowl, sift the chickpea flour, arrowroot flour, and salt. Sifting flour removes the lumps of the chickpea flour and makes your batter smoother if you don't have a blender. Then stir in liquid and whisk until smooth. The batter should be a bit thinner than a pancake batter.
