A valid NS ticket or chip card is required to take the train to the Railway Museum. You can pay for the rail shuttle using your OV Chipkaart. It is possible to check in and out at the Railway Museum. A train to the museum departs from Utrecht Central station once an hour (from Platform 2). The trip takes only 17 minutes. Same-day return.
