Bright Angel Point, the most popular viewpoint on the North Rim, is accessed from a steep, paved trail which begins near Grand Canyon Lodge. Just a quarter-mile from the lodge area, it is often the first scenic viewpoint that visitors experience after their arrival at the North Rim.
