The JK 2500 was a prototype sports car using a Tatra engine, made in 1955. Construction and planning began in 1951. The car is named after the designer, Julius Kubinsky. The car was originally fitted with a 2500 cc Alfa-Romeo engine, but it was later replaced with an air-cooled Tatra V8 from Tatra T603. With the V8 the top speed was 207 km/h.

JK 2500 is the ninth Kubinského machine and began to take shape in 1951 - 1952. Kubinská was working in Brno Karosa and its management considered what will be produced, to cease military production. This however did not happen and the plant spewed box bodies to immortal Praga V3S.
