Instructions. Bring the water to boil in a large pot. Add the chicken or pork broth, dashi powder, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and ginger to the boiling water and then reduce the heat to low. Let the broth simmer for 15-20 minutes. Cook the saimin noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
