Toast the walnuts. (see tips below.) Combine the mixed greens, crumbled blue cheese or gorgonzola cheese, chopped walnuts, diced red onion, and dried cranberries in a large bowl. Whisk together the maple balsamic dressing ingredients in a jar or small bowl. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to coat evenly. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Step 1. In a shallow baking pan, bake pecans in a 350ยฐ oven until golden in the center (break one to check), 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool. Step 2. In a large bowl, gently mix spinach, pecans, cranberries, crumbled gorgonzola, olive oil, and vinegar. Season salad to taste with salt and pepper.

Instructions. Gently toss the field greens, almonds, cranberries and gorgonzola cheese in a large bowl. In a small container with a tight-fitting lid, combine the balsamic vinaigrette and the dijon mustard. Shake the container vigorously for 30 seconds to make sure the mustard fully incorporates with the vinaigrette.

It's delicious. As for the white balsamic vinaigrette, it's very simple. We'll use some good extra virgin olive oil. Use the good stuff here. Add a little white balsamic vinegar, a little honey and Dijon, salt, and pepper. Combine, pour it over the salad, and toss. Use as much or as little as you like.

To make the salad dressing, add the olive oil, vinegar, honey, dijon mustard, and oregano to a small mixing bowl. Whisk ingredients together until well combined. Add a squeeze of lemon juice, if desired and salt and pepper to taste. Add the lettuce, pear, cheese, walnuts and cranberries to a large salad bowl.

Combine. Add the arugula, candied walnuts, cranberries, and gorgonzola cheese to a large bowl. Toss then add the dressing according to your taste, enjoy immediately. If you are planning to enjoy the salad later wait to add the dressing till just before serving.

Add all the romaine to a large serving bowl. Add at least 1/2 cup of the dressing, or more. Stir to coat. Add the chopped apples, 1/2 to 1 cup candied walnuts, most of the gorgonzola, and most of the cranberries. Toss together. Top the salad with additional walnuts, gorgonzola, and cranberries. Layer the sliced apples on top however you like.
